Richard Dininny meticulously handcrafts fine furniture in the traditional way. The woods used are appropriate to the period and the piece. Working alone for the past 30 years, his approach has required a tremendous amount of handwork through carving, turning and the delicate addition of inlay. His finishes are of the highest quality. Richard has been restoring furniture and period pieces since 1963. As a conservator he has special affinity for Queen Anne and Chippendale, but he enjoys working with other periods as well as creating custom designed pieces.
