I'm James Lukow, a second generation woodworker from the town of Lindsay, Ontario, Canada. Dreams in Wood is in its third year of operation, the results of which show that “sawdust must be in the blood.” We operate from our home in a detached shop. Often in the areas of design, finishing, and textile work I am assisted by my wife Lana. I entered this profession on advice from family and friends, and to create affordable quality furniture, opposed to the prevalent mediocrity available today.
