Heidi Howard

Born a Sagittarian, raised in Maine, a 50s teen with a gypsy’s love of color, texture, and travel, I have always always played with fabric. As a young mother and student in the 60s, I moved to New Hampshire. After graduating, I spent a decade working
for the military and moving around this world.

I first visited Sedona, Arizona in the early 90s during the big floods there. The beauty and energy, the magic of Sedona changes from moment to moment according to the quality of the light, the time of day, the weather. Thus was born the mystical, metaphysical style found in these fabric creations.

Each original is one-of-a-kind, made entirely of fabric, matted and framed. I make no two alike. However, a limited number of copies are
available, matted and ready to frame. Some copies are available as greeting cards and as ready-to-hang decorative tiles.

This is my effort to translate earth’s wisdom from my heart to the heart of the beholder.

Sedona Skies

I visitd Sedona, Arizona and fell captive to the magic.
My work was born in awe of the beauty and energy there!
It changes from moment to moment according to the quality of the light,
the time of day, and the weather!
Sedona skies are always beautiful and healing to the heart.
